we should be careful about calling (or letting others call) right-wingers & fascists radical. so as to not dilute the meaning of radicalism. to become radical means to try to get to the root of things, of how our worlds have worked and continue to work. the general answers at this point are invariably capitalism, racism, misogyny, ableism, etc. & the struggles against them. but (most) right-wingers & fascists (and people on the ‘right’, and to extents also the ‘left’ in general) don’t really get to the root of these things in any meaningful way. what they’re about is picking & choosing whatever fucked up flavor & combination of the aforementioned structures most benefits them and running with it so that they have something to regurgitate (talk about) while they go about fulfilling their disgusting power fantasies.
